History:
6 years old  female, labrador retriver.
2 weeks history of weight loss, vomiting and diarrhea.
WBC - 56,000. Hct- 34
BUN-34, ALP-302

Findings:
There is air noted in the terminal colon.
There are fluid and gas filled small intestinal loops, within normal size.
There are fluid filled elongated structures within the caudo-ventral abdomen, location and appearance suggestive of fluid filled uterus.

Diagnosis:
Pyometra

Discussion:
The uterus is not normally seen on plain radiographs
