A 6 months old King Charles Cavalier, female.
Acute diarrhea and vomiting. WBC-24,000. The rest of the blood work is normal.You are welcome to post a comment with your interpretation. I will post the answer in a few days

The small intestinal loops are diffusely enlarged (2-2.5 vertebral bodies) with gas and fecal like material. The pattern is not an obstructive pattern since the distention is diffuse and uniform (see the discussion of what is your diagnosis 2). Though in long standing obstruction cases the distention may become diffuse
