this case is of a 14 year old mixed breed dog, spayed female with an acute collapse. WBC=37,000, Hct-34, ALT-157. Febrile.

Here are the findings:
Lateral view: there is a circular soft tissue opacity with a mass effect in the ventral mid abdomen. This mass displaces the small intestines caudally.
There is a focal loss of serosal details on the cranial dorsal abdomen.
VD view:
There is a loss of serosal details in the mid abdomen with a mass effect and caudal displacement of the intestines.
These findings are compatible with a spleenic mass, e.g. hemangiosarcoma with some bleeding.
